Craig Keeps the Secret in Agent
Daniel Craig is maintaining the traditions of the secret service and is keeping one of the biggest secrets, the title of Bond 23, very much to himself for the time being.
Craig, who is preparing to start his tough fitness regime for the start of shooting on his next adventure as secret agent 007, was asked by a CNN correspondent recently about the new movie, and he apparently confirmed to the reporter that the film now has a title, 'but he wouldn't tell me it'.
Meanwhile, in a little-noticed interview the actor gave to promote 'Cowboys and Aliens' in Spain, Craig at one point was asked whether he could confirm that Javier Bardem (who was the subject a few months ago of intense media speculation in relation to the part of the villain in Bond 23) would be the next Bond baddie.
Craig responded: 'I'd love to, but I cannot say anything. I wish. Javier Bardem is one of my favourite actors'. Craig added that he did not know one hundred per cent, and did not want to say anything that might jeopardize the participation of any actors in the movie.
However, interestingly, concerning the general shape of Bond 23, Craig said it had been more than two years since the last Bond movie, so 'we have to go find something new'. He continued: 'The plan is to run an autonomous delivery', with the 'return of some familiar characters...'.
